Take care of business

Posted: April 27, 2011 in Truth

Today, as I was walking out the door to go to Harvest, I looked over and saw a huge ant infestation! I mean they came in and they were taking over. Apperently they love dog and cat food. They were all over, and I knew if I didn’t act they would be everywhere when I got home. I made the decision to be late and take care of the problem before it was to late.

Have you even known of an issue and did nothing? Not making a decision is a decision. If we do not act at the right moment, we will be overrun with ants (or worse sin). Sometimes you have to make a hard decision, and people are gonna be mad at you, but if you are listening to God and you are in His will, then you must obey God

Acts 5:29b We must obey God rather than men!

You might have to do a little rearanging of your life and your priororities to make it work.
You might piss a few people off.
You might lose a few friends in the process, but in the end you wont have a huge mess to clean up if you take care of the problem right away.

Those little sins you think are little, well I got news for you; they are starting to pill up! And if you do not do something about those ones you are gonna have such an anthill you will not believe.

One example of this is when a couple starts to date. They want to be pure until marraige, but they start hanging out alone, late at night. They get a little more intimate every time. Every day they feel the pressure building up, and they eventually have sex. If the man would have stepped in and said, “enough! I’m taking care of this right now.” Then they wouldn’t have anything to worry about.

What do you need to take care of right now? Do it today, do not wait.

God bless you,

Dan Fogarty.
